This typically happens when you're connecting to a headless gaming PC without a mouse plugged in. If this is not your current situation, it might be due to another screen capture tool/remote desktop running on your gaming PC at the same time.
Windows explicitly removes the mouse when one is not present. Parsec faithfully reproduces the hidden mouse cursor based on this. If you would like to keep a mouse cursor visible at all times, you can follow the steps outlined in this article.
- Press the Windows + I keyboard shortcut to open the Settings app.
- Click Ease of Access.
- Select Mouse in the left side. Under the Mouse keys section, click the toggle corresponding to the “Use numeric keypad to move mouse around the screen” option to On.
- You can now easily control the mouse cursor with the numeric keypad.
This will force Windows to believe that a mouse is always connected.
