Audio Cutting In And Out

Follow these two guides to fix Audio issues

DISABLE AUDIO CANCELLATION

The echo cancellation feature can sometimes cause your Parsec stream audio to cut in or out.

To resolve this

1. Disconnect from your host

2. Open your Parsec settings on your client device

3. Turn off echo cancellation in the Parsec Client Settings

4. Reconnect to your host

On Linux / Raspberry Pi

1. Disconnect from your host

2. Open your config.txt file located at ~/.parsec/config.txt

3. Add the following line (without quotation marks) "server_audio_cancel=0"

4. Save the config.txt file, and reconnect to your host

 

INCREASE AUDIO BUFFER SIZE

1) Disconnect from your host

2) Open your advanced configuration file (on Windows and Mac it can be found at the bottom of your Parsec settings, on Linux and Pi it can be found at ~/.parsec/config.txt, and on Android it can be found on your SD Card)

3) Add the following line to your advanced config file

client_audio_buffer=40000

4) Save the file and restart Parsec, then connect to your host
