Exclusive Input Mode prevents more than one person using the keyboard and mouse at a time. It also gives mouse and keyboard control priority to the host in all situations.
You can find the Exclusive Input Mode in the hosting settings section, on the host computer.
This makes it easy for the host to regain control if one of their friends starts trolling with the mouse and keyboard.
The priority order for input control is as follows.
- The person physically at the host machine
- The host remotely connected to their own PC or cloud computer
When to turn this setting off:
When you and your friends want share your keyboard and mouse to play a game together.
