Hey. Is the 1080 plugged into your monitor directly through HDMI or is it through another set up?

GPU connected directly to monitor using DisplayPort cable

Do you have an HDMI cord? Do you mind humoring me and plugging that into the GPU and the primary monitor to see if it fixes the issue?

HDMI cable works. Why would that be?

Is it possible that the DisplayPort is actually going through your motherboard? In that case, the video is potentially being shipped to be drawn on your screen through the CPU. I'm not 100% sure, but I've seen it before. It's actually probably better for you to use the HDMI from the GPU generally.
